Dog friendly, self catering holiday cottages near
Lower Trengale is set in a peaceful countryside location just 12 miles from the sandy beach and fishing village of Looe on the south coast of Cornwall. Our holiday cottages are the perfect base for exploring the main attractions in Cornwall. Choose from four self catering cottages which have been completely refurbished and are set in 6 acres including a small lake(unfortunately dry at the moment!), wooded area and tree plantation. The Studio has now been renovated to a high standard enabling larger groups (up to 20 guests) staying in our cottages to eat together. Available for wedding receptions and private functions too!
Lower Trengale is an ideal base for a family holiday. There is plenty to keep your little ones entertained including our outdoor play area and indoor games room with pool and table tennis tables.
We love dogs, so well behaved four legged visitors are very welcome in all of our cottages and there are endless country walks to explore in our 6 acres of land and nearby. (Maximum of 2 dogs per cottage)
A cream tea on arrival and a warm welcome all year round
We are open all year. A cream tea awaits you on your arrival and you can be sure of a warm welcome from Mike (a vet of 38 years) and Kay along with yellow Labrador Ruby and cats Diamond and Jubilee! We also have a Lipizzaner pony called Tempo, two pygmy goats called Pumba and Hattie not forgetting Bob and Marley the sheep. Please visit our Facebook page for our latest news and photos.
Ideally located near Trevenna and Carnglaze Caverns wedding venues
Lower Trengale holiday cottages are a mile from the tranquil village of St. Neot where there is a village shop, pub and church. Close by are the wedding venues of Trevenna and Carnglaze Caverns. We have been pleased to accommodate the families of Jo and Marc who got married at Trevenna from us here at Lower Trengale Farm. You can see some of Jo's photos of the big day in our photo gallery.
